Villa Auenblick

A family villa set against the woodland edge of Grunewald, reimagined from a dated 1990s interior into a calm, enduring home. The brief was restraint: rooms that could hold art, host quietly, and recede when not in use.

We worked from the architecture outward, restoring proportion, widening sightlines, and grounding each space in a narrow palette of stone, oak and bone. Furniture was selected slowly, much of it commissioned, so that nothing feels bought in a single season.

The result is a house that reads as inevitable rather than decorated: confident, unhurried, and built to age well.
