Haus Lärchen

A new-build lake house in the Bavarian Alps, where the interiors had to answer to a dramatic landscape without competing with it. We kept the material language honest, larch, blackened steel, wool, and let the views do the speaking.

Every room was planned around light: low winter sun, long summer evenings, the changing water. Joinery was detailed to disappear, and the furniture plan favours a few generous pieces over many small ones.
